It is, indeed, a small world after all. As educators, artists, vagabonds, and seekers, we are called to not just explore our world, but to challenge ourselves to bridge the natural divides between countries, age, race, and experience. And to distinguish that, regardless of living conditions, it is often in children that we see the vulnerability to live and l...ove with simplistic, unbridled joy.
We invite you to join us in celebration of this joy for an evening of multi-national song, spoken word, and impromptu dancing to raise support for the children of OurHome school and orphanage.
We are thrilled to feature the following bands:
* Lobster (Local blend of Jeju and Korean natives and foreigners featured in Harpers Bazaar magazine!)
* Socialism (Korean ska band)
* Hanaloreum (Traditional Korean drumming)
* Dialya (Senegalese band)
And! Slam poetry performances by Josh 자시 Fisher, Jack Quinn and Wilkine Brutus.
Suggested donation is 7000 won and can be presented at the concert. All proceeds will go directly toward buying school supplies and basic necessities for the children at OurHome.
